The Quiet Beauty of West Indian and African Men

A photo that I took one day in Barbados.
There is something to be said about the sexiness of a Black man from the Caribbean or Africa. If you catch one at the right moment you'll witness a quiet rawness in them that will have you infatuated.  The way the sun hits his skin while he's leisurely sitting on the sand at the beach; with no idea that I'm gazing at him.   The way the sand remains on only his feet after taking a relaxing dip in the Caribbean Sea.  The clear drops of water drying away on a rich sun kissed chocolate complexion. Brothers from Africa and the Caribbean have the clearest and smoothest skin that I have ever seen.  And my West Indian brothers - the texture of their skin is just completely different - from the clean moist air that they've grown up with.  It leaves their skin permanently moisturized and soft.  A completely different texture than that of their American brothers and sisters.  I've noticed this several times.  And I love the confidence that African and West Indian men walk with, and how it starts from when they are very young.  Watch the way that a 3 year old West Indian boy carries himself.  He's already displaying his manliness and security and boasting with other children.  It is a beautiful thing.  Sometimes I forget how amazing a black man is until I see one in all of his rawness.   God I love being Black, and God I love Black men.  Nothing can compare.
