A friend of mine forwarded a poem titled, "Duality Duel" by this brotha named Daniel Beatty that hit so close to home. I was so touched by his words that I was almost brought to tears. So I found a couple more of his performances and I couldn't resist posting them here. Check this brotha out - he is outstanding.
The first poem is hilarious with their certainly being some truth to his words.
ReplyDeleteThe second poem was even deeper. Very emotional. A few lines stuck out with me, especially where he spoke of the sins of the father visiting the son.
Yes, simply profound. Can I just say that I LOVE Black people? This is why.
