Now, I am by no means a super religious person. I like to think of myself of more along the lines of a spiritual individual. I have read up on religions from Voodoo to Islam, and I am most comfortable with Buddhism. Plus, I have a hard time accepting Christianity as the "gospel" because of the history of it being shoved down the throats of my ancestors, especially when they were not even allowed to retain their own customs. I also respect all faiths, no one trumps the other. Nevertheless, I am able to at least appreciate the message that Christianity spreads.
My brother introduced me to gospel music. This song has particularly gotten me through some times when I was completely confused at what life was throwing at me. I wanted to share it, because I believe there is something special and spiritually transforming about it. It makes me think of angelic beings singing a chorus in heaven. Enjoy...
